Born on the beautiful island of Hawaii, Tina DiCharia has always had a connection to coastal living. After spending parts of her childhood in Florida, Indiana, and Illinois, she made Fort Myers her permanent home in 1984 and has proudly called Southwest Florida home ever since.

Before entering real estate more than a decade ago, Tina spent over 30 years as a nationally and Florida-certified Court Reporter and owned her own court reporting firm for more than 20 years. After a successful career in the legal field, real estate became a natural next chapter — one that allowed her to combine her love of Southwest Florida with something she has always enjoyed most: working with people.

Tina has built her real estate career around relationships, trust, and simply being there for her customers. She enjoys getting to know the people she works with and understanding what is important to them, whether they are selling a longtime family home, looking for a place on the islands, or making Southwest Florida their new home.

Community has always been an important part of Tina's life. She currently serves as President of the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of Realtors and is a Board Member of the Bobby Nichols Fiddlesticks Charity Foundation. Over the years, she has also been involved with the P.O.L.O. Club of Lee County, Big Brothers Big Sisters, United Way, and the YMCA.

Tina is married to Gus Simmons, Esquire, a local real estate attorney, and is the proud mom of her daughter, Kinzie. She also works alongside her father-in-law, Glen Simmons, a longtime Sanibel Realtor with more than 25 years of experience. With family, business, and community all deeply rooted in Southwest Florida, Tina feels fortunate to live and work in a place she has loved for more than 40 years.

When she's not working, Tina enjoys tennis, traveling, biking, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. She believes some of the best things about living in Southwest Florida are the people, the lifestyle, and the sense of community.

For Tina, real estate has never been just about buying and selling property. It's about people, relationships, and helping others enjoy a place she is proud to call home.
