At Pfeifer Realty Group, we believe real estate is about more than just buying and selling property. It’s about being part of something greater—a neighborhood, a community, and a shared commitment to the place we call home. On Sanibel and Captiva Islands, that sense of community runs deep, and we’re proud to be a part of it.

From the beginning, we’ve embraced the belief that strong communities are built by those who give back. That’s why, since opening our doors in 2008, we’ve been dedicated to supporting the local nonprofits that make our islands such a special place to live, work, and visit.

More Than Just a Neighborhood

Sanibel and Captiva aren't just a series of gated communities—they're a network of neighbors who show up, pitch in, and care for one another. That sense of connection is palpable at every community event and in every act of kindness shared between residents.

Local nonprofits are the threads that hold this fabric together. Whether it’s:

• F.I.S.H. offering support to neighbors in need,

• CROW providing lifesaving care to wildlife,

• SCCF preserving our natural habitats,

• Ding Darling Wildlife Society promoting environmental education,

• The Sanibel Historical Village keeping our island history alive,

• Sanibel Sea School teaching kids the wonders of the marine world,

• The Shell Museum diving deep into mollusk education, or

• BIG ARTS bringing creativity and culture to the forefront—

Each of these organizations enriches our islands in their own unique way.

Giving Goals—and Surpassing Them

When we set our first goal of donating $200,000 to local causes, we reached it by June 8, 2021. By July 25, 2022, we had passed the $300,000 milestone. As of April 22, 2025, we’re proud to share that Pfeifer Realty Group has donated $422,175 to nonprofits in our community, and we’re not slowing down.

Recent highlights include:

• $15,000 as Presenting Sponsor of CFI's 2025 Volunteer Expo

• $15,000 as Presenting Sponsor for SCCF’s Cause for the Campus, supporting the Sanibel Sea School

• $10,000 donation to F.I.S.H. following Hurricane Ian

• $10,000 in continued support of the SCCF Pfeifer Fellowship for water quality research

• $5,000 to the Captiva Civic Association’s Porch & Patio Concert Series

• $2,500+ to the Sanibel Historical Village, the Shell Museum, and others for fundraising galas

• Countless in-kind donations, volunteer hours, event sponsorships, and clean-up efforts

Our Commitment Continues

Giving back isn’t a marketing strategy—it’s our way of life. From sponsoring benefit concerts to showing up with reusable grocery bags for the local food pantry, we believe every act of service helps build a better community.

And we’re not done yet.

Our team continues to support causes close to our hearts and lend our time and resources wherever we can. Whether it's environmental conservation, wildlife protection, youth education, or post-storm recovery, we're committed to standing alongside the people and organizations working to keep our islands vibrant and resilient.
